Welcome to the Blackdown Mendip Riding Club
Our enthusiastic Committee organise many events all year round which include a Winter Dressage Series, fun over the winter months and run as a points accumulator with a Trophy going to the overall winner.
The Commitee also organise summer Members’ Days, which are only open to Members of the Club and are a great chance to meet other members in your area. Each Members’ Day has a dressage element and marks from the dressage scores are accumulated and at the AGM, the Sally Busby Trophies will be presented to the Junior and Senior member who has accumulated the most points over that summer months. The bronze can be kept for one year.
Spring, Summer and Autumn Riding Camps are always hughly popular and offer a fun-filled few days with hours of riding and socialising in the evenings. A chance to get away with you and your horse and meet other club members.
The Annual Show is the main Event of the summer months and runs a whole variety of showing classes, jumping and dressage.
Events are always posted on the website and are included in our Newsletter which is published every month and emailed out to members. The Newsletter can also be found on the Website.
