I don't know about you, but I thank whoever designed the long waterproof riding coat and wellies every day at the moment. I heard the weather forecast tonight and they are promising the rain will stop over the next few weeks - a bit vague I know but something to look forward to Here's a reminder of what daylight and blue sky look like

that the BMRC AGM is on 29 January at Blagdon Village Club, starting at 7pm. We will provide snacks and we have Tim from the Stables Equine Vets doing a talk on lameness, so come along and join us . Free to all so come and join us

Hopefully 2026 will be a successful year for you all in whatever you do. I am looking forward to re-starting lessons again and to catching up with many of you at the Riding Clubs AGM. I'm also excited for our 2026 Riding Club Camp which will be held again at Pontispool in June

It might be wet and dark out there, (did I mention wet!) but the lovely Pip has been working very hard to set up our 2026 Camp. It will be 19-21 June 2026 at Pontispool and there will be an early bird offer for those who book and pay before the end of April. Check out the website for more details (Camp 2026)

Good news, you can now cancel your lesson space up to 3 days before without having to pay (previously 7 days) Also as promised, there is now a cancellation form added to the lesson page for you to use but if you are cancelling on the day please still let Pip know directly Don't forget to keep checking out the lessons available as we're doing our best to keep adding to them
