Lesson locations

From the A38 at Weare take Notting Hill road towards Wedmore, signposted to Chapel Allerton. Go up the hill and take the first turn to the right to Badgworth. Badgworth Arena is on the right hand side. Do not drive up through Badgworth.

From M5 Junction 22 (Burnham-on-Sea) follow A38 South and take first turning left Burnham Moor Lane to Wedmore and Mark. Remain on Burnham Moor Lane as it continues into Pilmore Lane. At triangular junction with B3139 turn left to Wedmore and Mark and drive along Mark Causeway. Pass Coombes Cider Mill on left and take next right Yardwell Road that continues into Butt Lake Road.

From Wedmore follow B3139 through Mark onto Mark Causeway and take first turning left Yardwell Road. Remain on main road Butt Lake Road becomes Tile House Road after a left hand bend and River Road after a right hand bend. Remain on main road which becomes Mark Road then Burtle Road. Pass Burtle Village Hall to the right. Hill Farm is about 10 properties down to the right with blue sign on low wall between houses and private access drive.

From Glastonbury follow B3151 into Westhay. Turn left into Shapwick Road then take second road turning on the right Burtle Road. Remain on main road through Burtle after slight left followed by slight right hand bend Hill Farm is on the left with blue sign on low wall between houses. Follow the drive to the left and around the farm buildings to parking area.

From M5 Junction 21 (WSM) follow A370 to Bristol passing Puxton Park on the right into the village of Hewish. Take first turning left into Wick Lane (acute angled junction).

From Bristol/Congresbury follow the A370 toward Weston-Super-Mare at village of Hewish take the filter lane and first turning right into Wick Lane.

There is a small bridge over the railway that is traffic light controlled and subject to a 7.5 ton weight limit. A 7.5 ton horsebox can easily get through the narrow lane. Remain on Wick Lane there is a second bridge over the motorway then pass Ebdon Lane then Hodders Lane on the left. Continue on Wick Lane to a row of individual properties on the left Wick Stables is the third property on the left with a sign at the entrance. Parking is in a field at the rear of the property. Please remember to close gates as this is a working venue.
