What we do

BMRC runs a full calendar of BMRC runs a full calendar of events throughout the year, catering for all levels and disciplines of riding.

We require volunteers for all our events so if you think you can help then please let us know as we give a voucher to anyone who can help for 4 or more hours

Members day’s
Summer member’s days are held once a month during the summer months. These are friendly competitions held for BMRC members only. Each member’s day has a dressage element. Marks from the dressage are accumulated and at the AGM in October the Sally Busby trophies will be presented to the Junior and Senior member who has accumulated the most points over that summer. The bronze can be kept for one year.

Annual Summer Show
In hand and Ridden showing classes, show jumping and dressage. Classes open to everyone (inc non members)

Winter Dressage Series
Series of four dressage competitions which are open to everyone with the final date being the championship show.
Horse and Rider combinations placed 1st – 4th from first three competitions will qualify for the Championship show. All classes in the championship show will be split into qualifiers and non qualifiers as the event is open to everyone
An accumulator series will also run throughout all 4 events. Sections split into senior and junior and points will be awarded for the following;
1st = 6 points, 2nd = 5 points, 3rd = 4 points, 4th = 3 points, 5th = 2 points, 6th = 1 point
Prizes will be given to the senior and junior member who has accumulated the most points throughout the series

Annual Dog Show
Every year we hold an annual fun dog show and BBQ. This is a very fun social evening and everyone is welcome so please bring along your family and friends
