WANTED TO SHARE TRANSPORT

Hello, I have recently joined the riding club and am hoping to participate in as much as possible. I am however limited by not having my own transport. I am very lucky in that i have very kind friends who take me with them to lessons and events. However i am posting this as I would also like to try more things too such as trec, jump cross and horse ball..pairs (actually i am up for anything..) By posting a request for a transport share i hope that i am also offering my self as a 'spare' if your companions drop out.. or you fancy doing something noone else does.. so that i and my horse get to benefit from new experiences and you get a companion..

I am happy to contribute as required. My horse is a 15.2 gelding and travels well in a trailer or lorry and is based Near Locking. WSM.

Could YOUR horse be a star??

I am an experienced rider, having competed up to and including National level Dressage, I am currently on the BEF south west region para-dressage foundation squad. I am a member of BMRC, and have my own horse, who is 24yrs old now and has recently had lameness problems, so I am looking for a suitable 2nd/back-up ride.I'm not looking to loan / buy /share, I couldnt for both physical and financial reasons, simply just to compete and ride a little in between competitions to keep a connection between us. This way, you can have the chance of having your horse competed through the levels, both unaffiliated, and affiliated, as well as para-dressage/RDA competitions, including the chance to compete at an international this summer, whilst keeping your horse as your own still.

Horse would be capable of working consistently to elementary level (or above in training) ideally,in order to be capable of the FEI para-dressage tests etc. Ideally between 15-17hh but not essential. Ideally a horse that doesnt require too much leg due to rider's illness (needing some leg is fine, just horses that need a LOT of leg are very difficult for me to ride).Also ideally not too cobby/wide for similar reason. Well balanced horse would be ideal, especially as rider has balance problems. Prefer genuine, honest experienced type but also happy to ride sensible youngsters (have to reduce chances of coming off as much as possible due to exisiting problems. Happy to have lessons with horse and either you / your instructor or one of mine especially if it is a younger horse.

I have worked with international level horses, grooming, exercising and producing, and I have my own very talented sports horse,who is 24yrs young so I am looking to take the pressure off him in the major competitions etc. I just wondered if anybody knew of a suitable horse in the somerset/bristol area and would like them to do some more competitions / para-dressage whilst still remaining with the owner?

This could work well for somebody wishing to bring on a horse to sell, or maybe if time or confidence etc is an issue,as your horse will still be your horse, but at the same time, they can also do a bit of competing, gaining experience,talent,prizes and recognition, all useful especially if wanting to sell in future!

Upcoming competitions for me, as a rider, (providing I have the horsepower!!) include the RDA Regional's,if successful there it will be on to the RDA Nationals, and in July, the BEF are holding what will be the very first Inter-Regional para-dressage championships to be held in the UK, possibly even in the World, which will be incorporated into the Milfield CPEDIJI *.

Rider is 5'2, weighs approx 9 stone, experienced and requires no special aids etc other than mounting block. Can provide selection of references if required, happy to come and ride a trial first etc. Ideally transport for competitions would also be possible - at no costs to owner, all fuel,entries etc paid by rider. Wanted: Uncomplicated horse to be a RC allrounder

15-16hh, 5-12 years old, light-to-medium weight nice-natured mare or gelding for experienced small lady rider. Must be a sensible, brave non-spooky/nappy hack alone or in company and be 100% to load. Will ideally have basic schooling and be jumping a course of jumps, but will consider green horses with potential. Prefer TB x native or TB x ID type; will not consider full TB.

Limited, but sensible, budget for the right horse. Permanent five star home in the beautiful Mendips awaits. Prefer within 100 miles of Bristol.

Area 12 Horse Trials at Pontispool-transport required

Does anyone have a space in their lorry/trailer and would they be willing to give me and my horse a lift back from Pontispool on Sunday 28th June after the Area Horse Trials.  The girl I was sharing a lift with has withdrawn, leaving me a bit stuck!  My horse is based in Failand (10 mins from M5 Junction 19, Gordano). He loads first time and travels very well. Contribution to fuel and wine as a thankyou!

Wanted - Help with Transport

Would anyone consider helping me transport my horse to riding club events? Jake is perfect to load and travel in a trailers or lorry and gets on with all horses. I keep him at Jayne Smarts yard in Banwell and can hack (in daylight) to meet you within a few miles of the yard. As I can't pay your diesel due to transportation rules I can help poo pick / horse sit / help you at the show in return.
