As a member of an affiliated riding club, you can take BRC Riding and Welfare assessments. These are split into Seniors and Juniors and there are two parts to the exam: Riding and Welfare. The riding side of things assesses your riding ability while welfare focuses on stable management.
The aim is for members to enjoy learning and to benefit from gaining a qualification at the end. For some of our more ambitious members doing the BRC exams means you can bypass some of the BHS stages and save a considerable amount of money.
