Mary Skelly BHSII ISM
I am a BHSII and have my stage IV riding and intermediate stable managers certificate. I have been teaching for 7 years and run my own yard in Mark. I have owned and competed ponies and horses all my life.
At 15 years of age, as a junior member of the Blackdown Mendip riding club, I won the riding club national dressage championship and at 19 years I was the British dressage national elementary champion.
I ride at national level and break and train my own horses including the two I won national titles on. I have a wide range of pupils from the very novice to those competing in dressage at advanced affiliated competitions. I myself receive training from some of our top riders including Peter Storr and Adam Kemp. I have a down to earth and realistic approach in my daily work of breaking, training, schooling and teaching my own and my client’s ponies and horses.
